Good News for the Real Estate Brokerage Industry!

Allow me to share and publicize two important updates that will help drive our industry forward.

Tired of the Current State of the Brokerage Industry?

Everywhere you look, you see unknown faces, scammers operating in countless ways, and dishonest dealings among owners, agents, and clients.

The industry is infiltrated by illegal workers who show no fear of the law.

Despite constant warnings, people continue to fall victim to scams every day, losing their hard-earned money while the fraudsters remain at large.

Professionals in the field are left feeling wary, constantly on guard, and always sharing alerts to protect one another. At times, it feels like a mix of anxiety and depression.

Waiting for karma to take its course may not be fast enough.

We always hear complaints about the lack of intervention from authorities or organizations to tackle these issues. But today, we finally have some progress.

Recently, representatives from the Thai Real Estate Brokers Association and the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) met to discuss and acknowledge the problems we face daily, including:

✅ Fraudulent groups luring victims into LINE chat groups
✅ Fake property listings with unrealistically low prices
✅ Scammers tricking people into transferring booking fees to mule accounts
✅ Property owners deceiving agents by withholding commissions
✅ Agents cheating each other out of commissions
✅ Currency exchange scams
✅ Notorious rogue agents who continue to operate despite multiple warnings

These scams occur across all real estate sectors—rental, buying, selling, foreclosure, and mortgage—with fraudsters constantly adapting their methods.

If you have encountered or fallen victim to any of these scams, don’t keep the pain to yourself.

We encourage you to send detailed descriptions and supporting evidence in a structured report, similar to a police complaint, compiled in a PDF file and emailed to matching.broker@gmail.com.

I will personally review and verify the content before forwarding it to the Thai Real Estate Brokers Association and AMLO for further action.

The more cases we gather, the faster we can push for decisive action.

If we don’t actively submit complaints to the authorities, highlighting how severely our industry is suffering, we’ll be left with nothing but endless complaints.

Let’s work together to bring about real change!
