Notification of Accommodation for Foreigners in Business or Residential Premises Notification of Accommodation for Foreigners According to the Immigration Act, B.E. 2522, Section 38, it is specified that: "The house owner, the person in control of the residence, or the hotel manager who accommodates a foreigner permitted to stay temporarily in the Kingdom must notify the immigration officer at the immigration office in the area where the residence or hotel is located within 24 hours from the time the foreigner enters the residence." Methods of Notification Method 1: Submit Documents In Person Submit the documents personally or authorize someone else to submit them on your behalf at the immigration office in the area where the foreigner is staying (during office hours). Method 2: Submit by Registered Mail Complete the notification form and sign it. Use a 6.5 x 9-inch envelope with a 10-baht stamp, address it to yourself, to return the receipt of notification. Place documents 1 and 2 in the registered envelope (keep the registration slip as proof) and send to the following address: For residences within Bangkok, send to: Notification of Foreigners' Accommodation Immigration Division 2, Immigration Bureau 1, Immigration Office Chaloem Phra Kiat 80th Anniversary Government Center 120 Moo 3, Chaeng Watthana Road, Soi 7, Thung Song Hong, Lak Si District, Bangkok 10210 For provinces, send to any immigration checkpoint in the area where the foreigner is residing. Method 3: Submit via the Internet Register for accommodation notification service online at www.immigration.go.th. Once approved by officials, you will receive a user ID and password sent to your registered email. Download the service request form for accommodation notification at www.immigration.go.th. Download the online accommodation notification guide and Form TM.30 from the login page. Accommodation Notification for Foreigners Staying Over 90 Days If a foreigner stays in the Kingdom for more than 90 days without notifying the authorities, or if the notification is made after the deadline, the foreigner must report in person and pay a fine of 2,000 Baht.
